Kurt Gerron actually is a Jewish director.The SS commander,Hans Gunther have a promise with Kurt.To keep Kurt alive, Kurt, in return should make a short film about the "idyllic" life of the inmates in the concentration camp.
Shortly after the film,both he and the cast were sent to Auschwitz where gas champer was waiting.This film became the last work of Kurt Gerron,which have both decived himslef and the world.
