玛丽和马克思影评：God gave us our relatives; thank god we can choose our friends

没想到竟然是这样的结局，竟然是这样的结局。。。。。

Mary Daisy Dinkle和Max Horowitz，两个并不完美的人，却拥有着这样一份美好的感情。

Max曾经说过，I find humans interesting but I have trouble understanding them. I think, however, I will understand and trust you.

就是这样的一份信任，让Mary从一个丑丑的不讨人喜欢的小女孩，渐渐长大，学业有成，嫁人生子。然而时刻关爱着她的人，却只有那个远方的看不见摸不到的肥胖的臃肿的有着甘草和陈旧的书的气味的不能分辨表情的患有严重的Asperger's syndrome的Max。

Max因为收到Mary的眼泪而在脑海中微笑，因为Mary而努力让自己学会不再焦虑。而Max的hurt, confuzzledness, betrayal, discomfort, distress and wheeziness则让Mary而一蹶不振，对整个世界都失去了兴趣。

一个人的伤心，的确会深深地伤害到另一个人。

我很高兴看到Max最终原谅了Mary，最终学会了如何去微笑，因为他终于明白，每个人都是不完美的。

我也很高兴看到，Mary终于见到了Max，这个真正陪在她身边给她活下来的勇气的男人。

在Max写给Mary的信里有这样一段话，这段话深深地打动了我。

You are imperfect, and so am I.

All humans are imperfect,

even the man outside my apartment who litters.

When I was young, I wanted to be anybody but myself.

Dr Bernard Hazelhof said

if I was on a desert island

then I would have to get used to my own company

just me and the coconuts.

He said I would have to accept myself, my warts and all,

and that we don't get to choose our warts.

They are a part of us and we have to live with them.

We can, however, choose our friends

and I am glad I have chosen you.

Dr Bernard Hazelhof also said

that everyone's lives are like a very long sidewalk.

Some are well paved. Others, like mine,

have cracks, banana skins and cigarette butts.

Your sidewalk is like mine but probably not as many cracks.

Hopefully, one day our sidewalks will meet

and we can share a can of condensed milk.

You are my best friend. You are my only friend.

不知当你真的找到这样一个人之后，是否会像Mary一样，不顾一切来到Max的身旁……
