12th fulfilled his promise to the name of the Doctor, having done it without hope, without witness, without reward.

World Enough and Time was a great buildup to the season’s finale, however the latter didn’t turn out as satisfying (a bit like the last season, Hell Bent didn’t quite match up to Heaven Sent). But overall, it was a most beautiful tribute towards Peter Capaldi’s Doctor. Moffat plus Rachel Talalay plus Peter Capaldi plus Murray Gold create wonders beyond my imagination.

The Master and Missy are fabulous though a bit wasted. They practically did nothing but being inexplicably charming.
