It's aboout an older gay man who watched all his friends died of AIDS but is now adrift. His situation is somewhat sad but I find the movie somewhat self-indulgent. Not to the degree that it jumps out at you, but still a bit self-righteous.
Still, I liked it and the protagonist does learn his lesson, if one such existed.
