It is a typical average American family （of which I believe so）. Dan lost his wife four years ago and raises three girls alone. Dan is not an attractive guy. He is boring, he is a little bit arogent and sticks on his ideas on how to educate his daughters.
The holiday season is coming and Dan brings girls to his parents' house in Rhode Island for the family reunion. That is a big family by any standards. On the island, Dan met a girl whom he thinks funny and attractive, Marie. She turns out to be Dan's brother, Mitch's girlfriend. What should Dan do?
Everyone likes Marie and everyone think it is time for Dan to start dating.
