Plot Summary:A documentation of Japanese avant-garde art and artists made during the remarkable economic boom, symbolized by the EXPO 70 in Osaka. To find the right artists, Isamu Noguchi suggested we seek the advice of Shuzo Takiguchi, an art historian and critic who was also a close friend of Marcel Duchamp. Takiguchi in turn recommended three younger critics who introduced us to exceptional young artists.
